With the moto G first launched in india it become the first company to use an online only distribution moral. Just a year ago in feb 2014 the first moto G was launched and in sep 2014 the second generation was launched and the 3rd generation is already out. It has a newer camera. Its 4g ready and its resistant to water (ip x7 certification). And runs the latest version of android which is Lollipop 5.1.1 . There is 2 models out now one is priced at rs.11999 for 1gb ram and 8gb rom. And the second varient is priced at Rs. 12,999 for 2 gb ram and 16 Rom. It runs on a quad core quad core snapdragon processor which is 1.4 ghz. And adreno 306 gpu. It has dual sim capablities but we can use 4g on olnly one sim. And we have micro sd card support. We have 5 inch 720p hd display which is protected by gorilla glass 3. The company suggest to use original moto branded back panels for water proofing capablity. Moving to camera it has 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual led CCT flash so thats a colour correcting temperature flash. On front it has a 5 mp camera. And it has a 2470 mah battery. And it has some handy gestures like double chop to turn on and off flash light and you can rotate your wrist to access camera and rotate another time to go into the selfi mode. The phone seems to robust and lasts for long time. In terms of software and provisions it is faster and responsive so no complaints with that. On the camera application you are provided with stock google application and they not provided 4k video capablity. And the chipset wont handle 4k video.
